The Cardrona beat lies between Peebles and Innerleithen just off the main A72. The fishings are right bank only and are adjacent to Cardrona village. Most of the 8 pools back onto the golf course land and can accommodate 2 anglers. Fish appear in the beat in September but if there is enough water salmon and sea trout have been caught from June onwards . There is no ghillie to meet the rods but there is a guide to the pools and a map in the Cardrona fishing blog. It also shows where to park. http://cardronafishing.blogspot.com/

There is a cafe that caters for anglers requiring breakfast or lunch
