Mertoun Middle Beat is situated approximately 2 miles from St. Boswells on the B6404 to Kelso in the beautiful Scottish Borders.

Fishing is available for let for three rods on a weekly basis, but during some periods lets maybe available for three days, prices are from £150 plus VAT per day.

Access to the beat can be by car to the fishing hut which is available for use. A Ghillie is provided from February to April and September to November.

The beat has six pools which offer excellent fishing from both banks. There are four boats positioned on the 1.5 miles stretch of the beat available from February to April and September to November.

Prices range from £50 to £445 per rod/day + VAT
