Travelling eastwards from Kelso, take the B6350 (on south side – right bank of the River Tweed) passing through the villages of Sprouston and Carham. On entering Wark village taking the first turning on the left up a short hiill and carry on for 50m keeping to the left and driving around a mound that is the ruins of Wark Castle until you arrive at the car park of The Boathouse (a white house). The Boathouse is the meeting place for all South Wark anglers.
Travelling westwards from Cornhill-on-Tweed, turn off the A697 and take the B6350 (signposted to Wark and Carham) to Wark village. At the west end of the village taking the last turning on the right up a short hiill and carry on for 50m keeping to the left and driving around a mound that is the ruins of Wark Castle until you arrive at the car park of The Boathouse (a white house). The Boathouse is the meeting place for all South Wark anglers.
